I was contacted by email by a guy claiming to be a Nigerian Dipolomatic Courier, indicating that a consignment of two money filled trunks were in New York Airport waiting to be delivered to me.
First there was a fee required for immigration clearance of the trunks. Secondly, the immigration guy named Phillip Adams hit me up for another fee for a clearance of a "diplomatic yellow tag" to clear the shipment from his office. The tag was delivered allegedly to a Walter Morris, claiming to be the diplomatic courier who would make the delivery to my doorstep. No consignment ever came, and they would not release a contract or tracking number to me for verification.
After the tag was released to the courier, then this guy, Mr. Tunde Lemon contacted me claiming to be with the UN Liaison office, and informed me that the fee for a pin code used by me to inspect the trunks once they arrived, would allow for clearance of the shipment and for them to assist the courier in boarding a flight to my locations. The charge for that was 650.00, which I refused to pay. The original outlay for the yellow tag fee, was first 150.00 and then 200.00, and the courier claimed to arrange the remaining 150.00 from someone he knew.
Thusly, no shipment has ever been delivered to me, and they are claiming that until the 650.00 pin code fee is paid, they cannot clear the consignment and board it on a flight to my location. I was suspicious of the whole deal to begin with, but was assured that it was a legitimate consignment.
