Is charging my debit card without my prior authorization. Santa Monica California

I noted my statement reflects a debit card charge without my prior approval, or without prior notice by this company after I purchased a ONE TIME, one month subscription to Reunion.com. I was never informed that they would do this as a continued, renewable charge.
