Jack-up services charge without informing customer prior to setup, not loyal to their customers

I called Precision Electronic Systems to program a remote control for my home theatre. I used them to build my home theatre so I thought they would be a good source for me to call upon. I talked to the owner prior schedule an appointment for them to come out and provide me the services.

The owner told me that it would cost $75.00 service charge for them to come out and program the remote. I assumed that the cost is $75.00 for the services therefore I did not ask to confirm when they begin the work.

After the work is done, they charge me over $450 in service charge. I didn't argue or fight back about the charge (although I honor their works) but to me, it is malicious. YOU CAN'T TELL YOUR CUSTOMER ONE WAY AND GO CHARGE ANOTHER - especially if they're not anticipate the amount that you are going to charge them - especially when it 5x more than the original price quoted.

In my mind at the time, I know that I would NEVER WANT TO USE THEM OR ANY COMPANY THAT WOULD RIPOFF their customer - personally I think it dishonest and bad business practice.

If you guys consider to use precision electronic systems in the future, please be sure to first check with them about pricing prior letting them do your works.
