I purchased a mattress from Sleeps a couple of months ago. When purchasing the mattress the Sales Rep told me the mattress would be fully covered under warrantee and if I encountered any problems they would replace the mattress with no problem. My son spilled milk on my bed which caused a foul odor. I tried wiping it but the odor won't go away. I called 1800-sleeps and spoke with Opal and that's when I learned that I was suppose to purchase a mattress protection plan, but it was never offered to me at the time of purchase. She then told me my only other choice would be to purchase another mattress even after I explained to her that the Rep never gave me that option. She had the nerve to tell me that some Reps don't extend the option because some costumers get offended. I hung up I called the store directly and spoke with Mary who is the supervisor at the 14th street location. Mary tells me there's nothing she can do and she doesn't believe the Rep didn't give me the option. She then tells me to spill cold water on my mattress spray febreeze and open the windows because she could no longer speak with me since she was on another PERSONAL phone call. I am appalled with the way I've been treated. And now I'm stuck with a mattress that smells because of the lack of professionalism subjected by sleepys. Had I been offered the mattress protection plan I would not be in this position. But I wasn't and there is no one to help me now. All Mary did was advise me to damage the mattress more. I paid top dollar for the mattress and it is obvious by looking at the receipt that if the mattress protection plan was offered to me I would have gladly purchased it, but it wasn't.
