A Rip Off and Theives for Employees

I had my belongings in Public Storage, my rent was paid. They had a flood a few years ago, the employees cut the locks on my locker, and stole everything that wasn't damaged. I went to the site and saw them walking around in some of my protective suits that costs 19.00 a pair, the kind you use for hazmat? I had two cartons of them in my locker.

I saw that they had changed the locks on my locker, the ones I had on the locker was cut off and laying on the ground inside and outside the locker. I couldn't understand that, I was there to check on my locker and pay the rent for that month.

I also had furniture, lamps, kitchen ware, tools, computers, TV sets, you name it - the locker was stuffed. I was between homes and needed a place for a short time.

Need I tell you I had the largest locker that they offered?

I called the police, they made the employees open other lockers that I said they were going in and out of. I found my silver tray they were about to take home with them, the tray is nearly three feet long, so you can imagine how much it costs. Before the police came they started loading up a truck and when they saw the police on the way one of the thieves took off. Most likely with my stuff.

I had a solid oak desk that was 4x 4 x 2 it was huge - took three men to move it. It was gone when I opened my locker. So was the other fine furniture I had placed there on a temp basis for my new house.

I had insurance, they never paid me, they ignored me. I took pictures, paid for the police report, kept calling Public Storage, they thumbed their noses at me. I never got to talk to anyone at Public Storage other than the phone operator, the people who owns Public Storage and the employees and management are criminals to cover this up.

All I worked for all those years - stolen by Public Storage Employees. To hire a lawyer? Ha! Insult to injury, they wanted too much money up front.

Do Not Trust This Company. They changed their TV commercials too! Remember when they said "you keep the keys" its no longer a part of their policy. Bummer!

This is a short version of a long story that I went through with this company. I tell everyone who even thinks of renting from them my horror story.
