Back in August two boys came to our door claiming to sell magazines. My husband was dumb enough to leave them in and listen to their spiel. He fell for it. We're out $50!
What bites my butt is that they said they had clearance from our borough and showed something to prove it. Now that the 120 - 160 days has passed I am going up to town hall and filing a complaint and seeing if they were cleared for peddling. Of course now they've had time to erase their tracks.
I'm just ticked off I waited so long. Once again my husband didn't listen to me and shut the door in their lying, cheating faces. My instincts DO NOT EVER lead me wrong.
