I was sent an e-mail from credit report of america. As I read it said get your free credit report and score now. I read on and it said only one dollar for the report. There was nothing about a 29,95 charge after seven days on the E_mail that was sent After giving my card info. I sadly learned that I had to send off for the report.
So I did. I had not yet recieved my report and I was already being charged 29.95 for some crap I did not know of. I called and they said you did not cancell your free trial so you get charged. I argued what was the charge for and they said internet access. Well all I wanted was a free credit report and score and gave two hoots about the internet because I can't get the report on there sight, and will not let them get away with this. The lady said it is non refundable.
I said cancell this now. I went to there websight and yes it clearly states and in plain sight about the charges. But the E-mail I recieved did not have that information and if it did later then it was too late. I looked real hard for the hook when I was signing up but could not find a charge for the free trial but the 1.00.
And I believed I was to have imediate access to my score and report. This fish and line hook business is crap and they should not get away with it. I have contacted the BBB and Attorney General. I am mad. The seven days was up before I even recieved my report or new what or when the seven days started and what it was for.
