At 7am today I brought my two cats to be groomed-I informed the groomer of the personality of the cats and how would be the best approach so the expierience for all parties would be as comfortable if you will as possible. I was convinced by appearences and lies that my family members would be in good hands and treated safely-I still as a pet owner, and mother needed to be reassured by a phone call I placed to them 1 hour later-the conversation was suspect from the beginning I did not get a definitive answer on how they were I cant even explain the panic inside me. I just knew something was wrong I immediately went back and it was confirmed my cat had been injured during the session prior to my check up call. Which I should have been informed immediatly and the session should have stopped the continuos trauma to the animals was unnecsary... And the the manager blamed the cat. There is a animal hospital no more the five feet away and no one intiated medical treatment at the agencey when the injurie was sustained as bllood was drawn from cuts on her ear and leg it wasnt until i insisted on immediate medical attention to determine if anything was acute... I sat in the examing room waiting for one hour while my cats were scared and traumatized to the point that they deficating on them selves it was then I chose to get them out of ther it was clear on how careless insensitive and cruel these people were even with all of what I have said thus far... 5 grown adults could not explain to me why I was not called immediatly why medical attention was not given... I have made several calls to the cooperate office Joe Peralta is suppose to be the individual who would further investigate such a horrific incident —however it appears that he also is a coward along with the staff at the Levittown office. I have not heard from him or anyone regarding a follow on the condition of the animals... I am not big cooperate office I am just a loving pet owner who intrusted my family members to them and in one hour they were emotionally physically abused... And no one took responsibilitie It was the cats fault they said. My hope is to promote public awareness DONT BRING YOUR ANIMALS TO PET SMART I hope my grammar and spelling doesnt reflect on the message but I feel so helpless... Maybe someone can help me further elaborate
