People have ridiculous expectations

I love reading people calling this company service a ripoff. The bottom line is this when a lawyer charges you a retainer to take on a case guess what whether you win or lose, he gets to keep the retainer. The same goes here, you are hiring a grant writing firm to do just that, submit the grants on your behalf because you dont have the time or resources to do it yourself, I am hiring SBF to take my business and submit grant applications to as many corporations or foundations as possible in hopes that just a few of them see my business as worth funding. Maybe I get one maybe 20 the point is SBF is not guaranteeing me anything other than, they will submit those applications and fill out those hideously long applications on behalf of my company and thats what I am paying for one year of service. At least I can write it off at the end of the year and if Im lucky I might get some grant money. Or I can hire a grant writer who will charge me $100/hr to do them one at a time, yeah that will end up costing me a fortune. No thanks
