I ordered one book from DBS for $13.68 w/free shipping. The book arrived and I then found out when I checked my Visa/debit account that they had automatically signed me up to SmartSavingsCenter.com for $29.95/month plus $1.00 more each month. When I called the number on the packing slip 1-800-511-6538 (five times - to get through each menu) I never got to speak with a real person. I had to close the card on which the purchase was made which is a real bother since many businesses with whom I deal are linked to that card. It will take 10-14 days for my account to be cleared and hopefully no more charges will appear.
