Refusal to Honor Authorized Return for Credit

In order to become a member of Project Payday, I was required toplace an order with one of their sponsoring firms. I chose somevitamins from Superfoods. I paid the required $6.95 for shippingand handling; that was fine by me. I waited and waited for theproduct to arrive. When I went to the Post Office to pick up mypackage, there were TWO of them. From Irvine, CA to Las Vegas, it took one month for these two boxes to get here. Whenmy bank statement arrived in early January, Superfoods had charged my account for $39.95. I called them to say they had shipped me a second box without my having had an opportunityto evaluate the efficacy of their product with the first box. Theythen granted me a Return Authorization #R185878 for the boxthat I had not ordered. I then shipped the second box to Irvine CAby USPS. My February bank statement did NOT evidence thecredit for $39.95. I called Customer Service, whose response wasthat I wasn't entitled to a credit because I requested the returnafter the November 17 to December 17 evaluation period... Despite the fact that I had not yet received the goods! Net effect: Superfoods has the goods, they also have my $39.95, and adamantly refuse to do anything further to my satisfaction.
