Well I signed up for online banking on Tuesday 3-3-09 and good thing I did because as I am scrolling through some purchases I've made I notice that earlier in the day a Bargain Network took out 29.80$
hhhmmmm, I said to myself, what was that? I have not went anywhere today and my husband has not used his card.
I use my debit card alot and I make lots on online purchases.
So, I call the bank thinking this is something I bought and I forgot what it was. (Bad Memory) All the bank knows was a Bargain Network in California debited my account for 29.80$ and gives me the phone number.
I call and I was asked to enter my phone number to pull up my account.
So I do, not really thinking I have an account with these people, but I must because they are helping themselves to my bank account.
SO, after 20 minutes of waiting in which I was told someone would be with me within 1-2 minutes LIE #1!! Go figure... Anyway, I get through to some girl with an attitude. I say yes, can you please tell me what I have purchased through your company. She says yes mam, you signed up with us on April, 10th 2008. I said okkkkk, what is this company, and she says you have signed up for an automotive subscription... After a few moments and I say... No i did not mam... Why would I need/want an automotive subscription? She says yes you did, and I said well, I have not received any email confirmation, no phone calls, and nothing has come to me in the mail. I have been completely oblivious to this so called automotive subscription I signed up for... Thinking to myself, well maybe today's fee for 29.80$ was like an annual fee for the subscription, she proceeds to tell me that they have charged my account 29.80$ every single month on the 26th since April. I said well today is the 3rd why have you charged it today? She said well we tried to charge in february but your card declined it so we ran it again and so I say WELL YOUR JUST GOING TO PING IT AND PING IT over and over again until it goes through then! And she says yes mam... HUH!
Ok, I say I want this account canceled and canceled NOW! I said you better get your dirty little fingers out of my bank account right freaking NOW! I proceeded to tell her that I have 2 small kids to feed and my land rigger husband has just been laid off and this company has been charging my account 30$ a month without my knowledge, what kind of shady business thinks they have rights to my personal bank account??? And she then tells me, in a rather smart alec tone, well mam, it's not my fault your not paying attention to your bank statements, she also says I have a child too and I pay attention to my bank statements! I said WHAT! I told her first of all it was NO ONE'S business how I tended to my bank statements and the REAL POINT was this company had been stealing from me for almost a year!!! I said, well no wonder there have been funds unaccounted for! My husband is accusing me of being an over spender and can't keep up with our money... When all along the money was being taken by BARGAIN NETWORK!
Well live cent to cent, we have no savings and we cherish every dime we have, so be taken like this is gut-wrenching, I told the lady on the phone, My account better be canceled and if my account was charged one more time I would be contacting a lawyer!
She gives me a confirmation # which I am not too sure, if that has anything to do with anything considering where was the confirmation # when I supposedly "signed" up with this company and where were the confirmation #s when they debited my account every single flipping time???
I told her to email that confirmation # to my email and she say no mam we can't do that. I said oh H A H A! Well you can debit my account online and I supposedly have access to this auto subscription ONLINE YET YOU CAN'T EVEN EMAIL ME A CONFIRMATION #! I said, that's real funny - thank you - CLICK!
Today (Wednesday 3-4-09) I have called back and waited another 20 mins on the phone and was transferred to a SANDRA whose number is 11639 and was told that the last month money would be credited back to my account within 1-4 days... But that it should get back in there fairly quickly. I checked tonight, not there yet, and I told her I would be calling back if my money was not back into my account by the end of the 3rd day and she assures me my account has been canceled and gives me ANOTHER confirmation # (which im sure means as much to them as grass)
I now have a new card with my bank, the old one has been shredded... My old card and my husbands old card were both compromised.
I will no longer be buying ANYTHING online...
What happened to me was this company tapped into something else I have bought online.
Because i promise you now - i did not sign up for an automotive subscription with bargain network! No way.
I had absolutely NO REASON what so ever to ever ever ever, even want to so much as think about looking into an ONLINE automotive subscription.
Anyway, thats my story and im sticking to it, but I have a feeling I am not done with these people yet. They messed with the wrong mad white woman!
I will be posting to this to all my email addressees, my 3 community site I am members of as well as city forums!

You might have got me in the past bargain network - BUT YOU GOT ME YOUR LAST! HAHAHAHAAH!
