I received a call from USA Credit Superstores in February stating that I had been approved for an unsecured visa card with a $7,500 limit.
They said that I had guaranteed approval. This also included free roadside services, 40% off prescriptions, and a one time membership fee of $99.90 and $19.95 per month. When she told me that I could only purchase products on line, I said no thanks, but she insisted that it would help my credit report. She also assured me that they would report my payments to the credit bureaus and send me a copy of the reports.
I agreed for my account to be debited after I had given her my social security number, bank routing number, checking account number, and email address. The week before the draft was to take place, I couldn't find the number to cancel the debit because I didn't have sufficient funds in my account to cover it. Nor could I find the website.
Eventually after searching and searching, I found this website with numerous usacomplaints.com about this company. I immediately looked for the cust. Service number and I cancelled. They still have my SS# and checking acct.#. The cust. Care rep. Told me that the debit had been cancelled, but from reading other reports, I'm not too sure of that.
