In May I bought a product from a firm to hopefuly improve my gas mileage. At that time I was told I would receive information from a Company that would offer me an opportunity to get some relief from the high gas prices.
I received the information from FreebieGas advising me I would receive a $25.00 dollar Debit card for each 100 dollars I spent for gas if I would follow their rules. I registered and received 18 months of gas coupons to attach to receipts where gas had been purchased. I followed their rules to the letter.
After a few months I had not received any Debit Cards and I called them and they stated they where behind and they would get me my cards. A few weeks later I received one card. I am now eligible for 7 additional cards and I have called and talked to 3 different people and they have promised to send them, but as of today they have not.
I have come to the conclusion it is a scam. Tire Kingdom gave me another certificate, (because I purchased 4 cooper tires). This was a company vehichle and we are sending in the receipts, but I doubt they will send any Debit Cards. Merchants need to cease giving this certificates.
