My husband and I thought we were the only ones being misslead by all these modification companies, we paid money to be help because they said Aurora will work with us, our income changed as my husband lost is job.
Started paper work mid Oct on January 10th we arrived home and there is it, a note of Trustee of Sale we had until February 5th lest than (3 weeks) to moved out because our loan modification has been denied, Wooo! I called the people helping us and and they know absolutely nothing, oh don't worry that is part of the process, faxed them the note, by the end of the day they called back, we got bad news for you, Aurora Loan will not modify your loan; if you want to stay in the house you will need to pay all the foreclosure paper work about ($20.000 including late fees) ridiculus we are asking for help and they tried to buried you alive...
Long story short we did a market analysis, our property is worth at today's market $310.000 -$340.000.00but paid $637.000.00 (put down $115.000.00)
Aurora will not forgive the four months we did not pay mortgage nor they will help with the late fees incurred.
Well you guess right we LOST IT!!!
Someone needs to report this companies ansd put a stop, my understanding was the govermnent said let help these people, what is the idea of help?
