I am yet another person who has been scammed by Promo Models. I worked in September for NIKE and never got paid. After working for them I attempted to get a hold of them at least 100 times and never reached anyone, had e-mails returned saying the person no longer worked there or the automatic message stating I'd hear back from them... Hahah. Good for a laugh.
But when I filled out a form on their website acting as if I was interested in HIRING models, I got an e-mail back from Emily immediately. Isn't that FUNNY. Yet when I responded back to her response stating that I was in actuality a very unhappy unpaid model, I did not get another response.
I'm so thankful I only worked one small event for one day for this company, and feel horrible for those who are owed thousands of dollars. We must all work together to continue complaining to the clients directly to never use Promo Models for their hiring needs again.
And just remember, these people have to live with themselves at the end of the day - pretty disgusting thought, right?
