I received, unsolicited, a mailing from one ANC (Jefferson P. Williams, Prize officer) notifying me of receiving $2 million award..in fine print only a potential to win this award). But, I had to send $11.89 for securing this premium offer to me... Firstly, how did they get my name and address, second I thought it was somehow related to the Publishers Clearing House prize of $2 million. When I re read the notice, I discovered it was from this company and even though it said no money needed to be paid... There was this $11.82 fee to get registered. When I checked on the web to see if anyone had heard of this company, I saw there are a few others reporting this and SURPRISE!!! WE ALL HAVE THE SAME NUMBER...
Firstly, this is a scam and the paperwork looks very official. And, secondly, I thought this is illegal and should be punishable. And, thirdly, in this day and age when there is so much suffering with loss of jobs, people barely getting by. To have this person SCAMMING...
So after [posting this message, I will be contacting the local police to investigate this.
