General Expediting Management Services - G E M S - Michael Ballard Not Paid for Delivering Freight - Don't work for free! Signed on as independent contracto

We worked for G.E.M.S. For 2 months the first months loads we got paid for the last 2 loads, it was slow we never received compensation for.

We were in st paul mn area and were offered a load paying 1.40 / mile going to las vegas nv. We were told they could get us out of nevada. We sat for 10 days,
sent proof of delivery and faxed to company. After 10 days they offered us a load with 580 mi deadhead from california to minnesota, the load cancelled, we deadheaded to el paso tx and got a load from el paso to dubuque ia, we delivered in dubuque and sat for 5 days, it was now time to be paid for the las vegas load
since 3 weeks from delivery, they did not have money, we were getting direct deposit and no money in bank. We still have not gotten paid after quitting for the las vegas load 1633 miles at 1.40 (minus fuel cost) and the dubuque load 1.20 per mile for 1200 miles - fuel cost, My estimate is they owe 2,500.00 in back pay.

They say we owe them 128.00 after expenses and fines for quitting early.
