I am from Louisiana and i recently found a add in the Hammond daily star. It said:
Grand Opening. Fun & Fast paced office looking for 18-25 individuals to fill all positions. No exp. Necessary, will train. Start ASAP. 985-345-1133,956-1502.
I called, and they called me in for a interview the same day, told me to dress professional. I walked into this place that still has rent signs on door. They were playing loud loud music like "funky cold madina" and other old school rap. It was very disturbing and non-professional.
So i went and filled out a short paper on just basic info. Then they called me in there with another guy, and interviewed both of us at the same time. I thought this was very strange. They didn't ask any questions about previous jobs or anything that has to do with anything we had done before. They asked us questions like " Describe yourself in one word"?"Do you work well with others"? What is your best quality's and your hobbies"? So they asked me to come back for a second interview. Told me to just bring a pen and a 3 ring binder or notebook.
So i went back the second day, again was the very loud distracting music. They had about 50 people that showed and they called us into the room for our (second interview) all together. They still continued to play to loud music. They never gave us a chance to talk or ask questions.
So they called me into a office after the "group interview" and told me i got the job. I was excited but was still clueless. My mom and family were happy for me but when they asked me about the job i couldn't even explain what it was. They were all very suspicious.
So i went back today because i was just curious to see what this company was, I walked in. Still had the music blaring. Which i finally figured out that they just keep it on that loud so you don't have a chance to ask questions.
I still wasn't completely sure what the name of the company was. They hadn't really talked about it much and i didn't see it on any paper or anything. But still went on with it to try to figure it out.
So they wanted us to do a sales excersize to sell their perfume. Told us they would give us A bonus and stuff and the winner would get$ 1000.00 Even though they said we would never be selling anything that be would be the manager of the sales people. Then i started thinking why would they need 25 managers of one office anyway.
So anyway, they told us to go home and try to sell as many bottles as we could to our family and friends and then they would have the products to give to the in the next couple of days. From the start i was Never gonna ask my friends or family to buy anything i didn't even know about!
So after all of this i finally had enough i searched all over the internet looking for MBS Management. I could not find one thing. I even typed in the name of the people that was interviewing us. I couldn't find anything. Im not sure if that was their real names anyways after all the lies i have heard from them. Finally i just typed in perfume scams and quite a few articles came up. I can not stand for then to take advantage of all them people and all i have to say to them is beware because they a bad day coming for them!
