I'm usually pretty-quick and never get suckered in by scams. But recently I was out of work and looking for a job when I came across an ad on Craigslist. The ad stated that you could make a GURANTEED $500 a week and as Account Executive with a company called Working Man Signs. As an account executive, you would basically just be responsible for closing deals from appointments that telemarketers had set up for you. The deal would be to get companies to sign an agreement to have a man stand outside their business with a sign and attract customers. That simple. I thought it sounded good so I decided to go for it. Well, after being hired, I along with about 15 other people met in a luxurious Buckhead office with the owner of Working Man Signs, Greg Stewart and his assistant Natalie. This guy is a scam artist at his best! He cried at least 5 times during the meeting and kept tugging at our hearts by giving us sob stories about his family. He swore that we would make $500 guranteed a week. However, he never mentioned that the work is commission based and there is NO GURANTEE when you work on commission! We even gave HIM $20 for materials related to the job. I was scammed! I was hurt because it really was a lie and he actually advertised it as truth. I thought that was against the law. The guy is not even registered with the BBB. And he told us he was once the BBB Small Business Owner of the Year. What a slimy snake. There is even an ad on craigslist by the same company asking for telemarketers and claiming that they will make $400 guaranteed.
Basically he wants people to drive around the city using up their gas and beg business owners to put a man with a hardhat and a sign on their sidewalk. And if they don't then you don't make a dime. Greg Stewart is a dirty business man who preys on people struggling in hard times. Greg Stewart is a crying coward who needs to stop scamming folks. Greg Stewart is a phony who needs to be shut-down and stopped! Don't work for WORKING MAN SIGNS! Instead you will get worked over!!
