On dec 1 i was tricked into believing i was ordering an info kit from google pro and my mastercard was charged $3.88. I not only never rec'd anything from the company, but my credit card was charged $72.21 on dec 8, then charged again for $38.84 on dec 31, and again for $72.21on jan 7. There were no "terms or conditions" which addressed these charges in when i ordered the "info kit".
I disputed the dec 1, $3.88 initial charge to my credit card co, then i disputed the dec 8 charge of $72.21. The $3.88 has been resolved in my favor. I don't know the status of the dec 8 $72.21 charge. Since then, i have been charged $38.84 on dec 31 and $72.21 on the jan 7 charge.
Yesterday my credit card co refused to dispute any of the charges since the dec 8 charge, telling me that they have a limit on 3 disputes per company (they've only tried 2) and that i would have to change my credit card # in order for these chgs to be stopped. Changing my credit card # will totally disrupt my account because i have as many bills as possible automatically charged to my card.
I called the merchant at 888 657 8585 and was told that they would stop future charges but not refund previous ones. I could tell that there were many people talking about the same thing in what sounded like a phone bank environment. I asked the person i spoke with, scott, to pls transfer me to the highest ranking person in the company. He said there was no-one higher than him..."end of story".
So here i am w / at least $183.26 i've paid for exactly nothing in return and don't know where to go from here.
I will appreciate any suggestions you may be able to offer, and i'd like to receive any replies to my post
