Mine is identical to report #413901. I realized the mistake and wanted to cancel but was informed wasn't able to until Monday. Then was told it was unrefundable

My report is exactly the same as report #413901. The rapid loud speech of the sales rep made it very hard to understand. I let them know I was concerned and wanted to cancel but was told I had to call back to the office
between Monday and Friday. I finally was able to speak to the representative after calling several times on Wednesday @ 4:00 pm. They also told me that I could have a representative from VISA to help me. I had the rep from VISA and the rep from Universal on a three way conversation.

Universal played the tape of the phone call and in their long speel they threw in that it was unrefundable. At this point the rep from VISA told me he couldn't do anything because I did give my card number and consent. He also noted that the sales person was indeed very hard to understand and he could understand why I had trouble.

Anyway of couse I'm very frustrated because as I told them I was ill with the flu and if I was not I would never have given my card number. I've had a VISA card for 40 years and I'm so careful with not giving my card number out. This has been a real eye opener as to how even experienced people can fall prey to these kind of con artists. I never thought I would be one of those people.
