After I used my card to pay the $3.95 shipping and handling for my 'free trial bottle' of Acie Berry Power 500, I learned from a friend that she signed up for the same trial and got all these charges to her account.
Then, I went to Acai Berry Power 500 website and read the 'Terms & Conditions' about the monthly charges in fine print. I called during business hours to cancel, and I was put on hold for about 1 hours probably in hopes I would hang up... So dont use your cell phone to call them!
I canceled and had to accept the first charge of $89.95. I thought it was over till other charges started showing up on my bank statement. Acai berry gave my information out to other companies who started charging my card monthly fees for product/services i did not sign up for or heard of...
One company is called fit factory who is charging my card 29.95 a month. I called them to get my money put back in my account and off their list. They did not have my permission to take this money out! I never even heard of them before!
Another company recieved my information who mails out coupons and charges your account 100.00 a month. I never got there name because the guy on the phone wouldnt give it to me and was mean on top of it! So dont have their information. I am still trying to get this companies information. Luckily I was able to prevent this charge from going through, but some people might not be so lucky...
So this free trial has cost me:
3.95 shipping
89.95 monthly fee
29.95 fit factory
29.95 fit factory (canceled first month but woke up this morning to another charge from them)
$100.00 anomonous company who sends you coupons was able to stop the process of the 100 coming out of my account
So this free trial has cost me a total of $153.80 and that is not including other companies who might have my information compliments of Acai Berry!
