I signed up for the free trial offer for Colopure on Oprah's website. I got the free bottle. I stopped using it after a week since it didn't seem to be doing anything.
I happened to be checking my bank account yesterday and noticed two charges that I hadn't authorized. One for Acai-aSlim for $79.95 and one for the Colopure, which was $49.95. I never authorized either one of these. I called the company and was put on hold for 45 mintues.
After being on hold for that long, I was told that, on the website, if I had checked on terms and conditions, I would have seen that I would be charged if I kept the product more than 14 days, which it did not say in the body of the offer.
Both of these companies operate in the same way, there are no terms and conditions in the body of the offer, the bottles do not come with an invoice, and Acai-aSlim does not even have contact information on the bottle. I had to find their contact info by going back to the original offer and check, "contact us."
Both of these companies are behaving in an unethical manner. I am reporting them both to the Better Business Bureau and am hoping that you here will be able to do something to stop this. Thanks
