I would like to begin by saying that Gold Coast Tire-Auto (Goodyear) is by far the last place anyone who has the capacity of breathing should go to have anything done regardless if you have been to a Goodyear Tire store in any other city, state or country.
They are an indepandant Goodyear dealer who's main concern is to get every single pennie fron you regardless of anything else. There managers are trained to decieve you and lie to make you get things done to your car that you absolutly DO NOT need. They will make you think that they are doing you a favor. (I know because i've been working for them first hand for a number of years.) 75% of the time when they sell you an alignment they DO NOT do it because it take 45min to 1 hour and that would cut into there next victim. Most of the time the equipment is so old or broken that it doesn't work or if it does happen to come on it would make your alignment worse then it was before you had it done (THATS WHAT THEY WANT BECAUSE YOU HAVE BUY TIRES SOONER).

Don't go there even if your car has broken down in a hurricain and you in front of one of there locations. Don't ever send your child, sister, mom, wife or anyone older than 60 years old there alone... They like these type of customers the most... They get them and scare them into a repair... There the greediest business owners on the face of the earth. I see this every single day
I want to be clear and say that iam a current employee and i am speaking out because i can't do this anymore. I've tried to stop but they have threatened my job. I was getting a managers salary but they changed it to hourly because i won't rip off people anymore. This is how they get you. And there employees..

I urge everyone who has done business with htem to look over your reciepts and compair prices. They don not go by the proper labor time by no means. They add. 1 tenth of an hour to every half hour charged. The shop supply fee is the rip off of rip off's. Please compare to other shops for the same services.
5% higher that retail and to all other dealers in the country. They are a bad example for goodyear and it's good reputation. They do not represent goodyear as they should.
The road hazard warranty is another example of greed. It's in house which will not cover you anywhere but there locations. You wouild never know until youhave a problem and goto another goodyear location. Theyy pro rate the tire so it will always cover thier cost which will cost you much more that you should ever pay.
Please check all your invoices for the parts prices. They take list price and add a minimum of 15% to 25% over that... Now if thats not a rip off i don't know what is. I must do this on the daily basis of i get a phone call about why i didn't. The greed is out of control.
Then they have what they call prd's... Payroll deductions. If your an employee and have an accident they will force you to pay instead of using the insurance. They will take an employees time clock punch and change it to there advantage. Oh ya thier being investigated by the labor board as i write this. I hear about this all day and everyday
The bottom line is that gold coast goodyear is the biggest rip off automotive facility in the country. I've been forced to continue employement because of our horrible ecomony but i don not adheire to there ripp off practices anymore... This means i will not be working for them much longer...
Run from them if you have done business with them and tell everyone else you know facts. Facts... Facts
Compare your reciepts then call broward county comsumer affairs and report them... They will help you get the money back they they took from you... I also have an attorney starting a class action suit so look in your local paper for an announcement. I still have to work for these people untill they either fire me or i find another job... Just run... Run... Run...
