On craigslist.com there was a person claiming to be in the Tuscaloosa area named Steve that was selling an Iphone for 200 dollars so I emailed him asking if he was still interested in selling the iphone.
A few hours later I got the response saying that he had sold his phone, but if I would go on this website where he went that I would get a good deal. I went to the website and it said you had to pay $29.95 to become a member of this site with so-called wholesale prices for iphones, ipod, and other electronical stuff.
So I entered my information and when the site opened, there was simply a short list of websites to go visit with no prices different than the normal prices. The websites could have been found through google.
So I went to google and typed in membersupply and the first website that came into the search engine was this:

Which is an article stating that a man named Steve sends these emails identical to the one I recieved to get people to pay this membership which is actually fraud.
Here is the email I sent reguarding the phone:
Interested in iphone Wednesday, December 31 6:10 AM From: Contacts To: [email protected] i do live locally, therefore picking it up wouldnt be an issue. Is there anything wrong with the phone? And can it be sold for 250? If not let me know im still very interested. -haley

The problem is that almost all the distributor websites appear to have been googled up from the internet, nothing special about them, no body is gonna sell you a 16GB iphone for $387, some of the chinese suppliers in the list do not sell the authentic iphones but fakes or clones, for instance one website i checked out based in china does not really sell iphone but they sell the clone (or fake) by the name Hiphone, some US based suppliers listed do not really sell physical phones but mostly accessories like skins, cases etc. The ones that sell iphones in US sell at high retail prices, I did not see any website that sells on the prices that membersupply used to advertise on their website, this is a total scam. MEMBERSUPPLY does not have a physical address listed on their website, neither do they have any phone number, they accept paypal, If you lost your money like i did please try to file a report with paypal, and FTC
