I purchased tire chains planing a trip to california thought i might need them for ashland well we had record breaking snow fall here in oregon so we cancelled our trip but still needed the chains to get around town well the first time the chains broke and left me stranded i rigged it myself and got out went to the store where purchased and tried talking to someone but nobody would pay attention finaly i got the attention of one of the workers showed him where the rubber had broke he says to me dang this happens all the time so i asked if iwas doing anything wrong he says no there just not the greatest chains he hands me a rubber replacment piece and tries to send me on my way bs i say fix this for me i dont have tools to do this myself so reluctantly he gets it done so i go out and put the chain back on myself i barely get home after a long day and the dam thing pops again so i tried to call for some help phone is busy all eve so because service was so shity at the 82nd store i decieded to try the next closest location talked to a george at the hwy 99e location he says come on down and see me personaly so ni get my but down there and they tell me he is gone for the day wtf im tired and pissed at this point i get the chain and they fix it for me again i ask for some assistance to make sure im not doing anything wrong well mike comes out takes a brief look and says im doing everything looks good so i get down the street and the same thing happens again im livid at this point les schwab chains have cost me hours in the cold put me in danger and could have cost me and my family 4yr old doughter and six month pregant wife if i had made my trip and gotten stuck in ashland or some place worse well im not done igot the chains fixed one more time complained again that i thought they were to big for my tires since i could pull the chains tight and still had slack nope those are the right ones im told so my wife has lost at least 40 hrs worth of work she works at the va as a lab tech grave yard well we cant afford to lose anymore time so i try to get her to work and we have to bring my doughter well guess what we get part way there and u guessed it the pieces of crap chains pop again leaving us stranded and my wife calling in good thing i had a full tank of gas otherwise i would not have been good still no satisfaction on the issue service doesnt seem to matter anymore since mr schwab passed i would like to start a class action law suit against les schwab for endangering my life and my familys i have plenty of wittnesses and some statements from those that did help and ive taken names and numbers of those with similar chain experiances les schwab needs to be held responceable for there bs chains i paid almost 80 dollars asked for the best chains they had all the breaklines having to be fixed its un acceptable sincerly scott cole former les schwab custermer and i spent thousands there over the last five years the only good service was at the canyon store across town where my account is
