I too have been scammed by Checker, Shucks, Kragen auto and CSK Murray Rabate Offer as the person in Oregon was. They sucked me for $36.00 on Valvoline Synthetic oil 16 weeks ago and have refused to answer my correspondance. I submitted all of the required and official paperwork endorsed by an official Checker Rebate Authorization receipt the day after I purchased the oil. I formally ask everyone who was RIPPED OFF by this scam to immediatly file a report with the Federal Trade Commission. This will generate an investigation and hopefully a Class Action lawsuit against CSK and Valvoline which will cost them more than $18.00 if settled in favor of the consumer. Also BOYCOTT all Checker/O'rielly auto stores and do NOT purchase any Valvoline oil ever. Please act immediatly as this was the classic "BAIT & SWITCH" scam dumped on the unsuspecting customer. These two companies are ratholes and crooks. What a classic scam I fell for. Now I am out $36.00 as I told my girlfriend to purchase a case of this also. And now she is ragged at me for losing this money too. Otherwise I would never buy Valvoline Synthetic oil, ever!!!
