I was searching the enternet to purchase a cd of solitaire games. I ran into this cd earth company who advertised what I wanted and offered the cd for free. They offered 2 cds for free and insisted on picking another two cds for free also. They would not let me have just one I had to pick four free cds.
The only cost was $2.99 for postage and handling.
This was the catch the second two cds were hid in the small writting of theterms and conditiong. I later had to use a magnifing glass to read it. It stated that last two cds you picked was on a 25 day trial and if you didnt send them back in 25 days you would be charged $30.00 for them and $5.96 for shipping and handling and about every seven weeks they qwould keep sending two more and charging it to your credit card.
The way the lied there big spill on the free cds and hid there gimic in the small print in the missle of theterms and conditiond makes this one of the slickest scamms that I have saw in quite a while.
I may not of cought this for months unless I might have noticed it on my credit card bill which I will start watching a lot closer. I am going to make a complaint with the attoeney gerneral of our astate which it very active on credit card fraud and such types of fraud
