This is hilarious!!! I knew something was up, I was told the name of the company was Progressive Marketing Concepts located in Windsor Mill, Md. And thats ideal for me considering I live in the area. I don't even remember applying for the job, but I'm excitied since I've been looking for work for months now.
So I go to the interview, in my best interview getup with pen and paper like momma said. I even have my thank you card ready to send to the interviewer when finished to really pour on the charm thick. Nonetheless, I get their and there are a few Hood Rats hanging outside the office. Now I'm a business admin major with concentration in marketing. Hood Rats couldn't possibly be considered for the same position I'm looking for.
Anyway the lobby is packed with interviewees. (Oh yea forgot to mention the name on the door was not Progressive Marketing but GEOPAT Enterprises). And they are moving through these interviews like an assembly line. Not to mention the Rock/Pop/IDK unprofessinal music playing in the lobby. So now I'm thinking they couldn't possibly meet with potential clients in this enviroment. Also the receptionist keeps answering the phone, "Advertising". Not an actual company name, hummmm.
So the Owner/Manager calls me in for the interview. She's talking some damn fast, I was trying to be studious and take notes, eventually I just put my notebook in my lap and just listened.
She goes on and on about how she was with the company for 4 months and got promoted to owner/office manager/puppet. Then after about 8 minutes it was over, and she invited me back for a second interview (she says only 3-4 will make it back, yea right).
Nonetheless, I can't wait to go to the 2nd interview. I'm gonna blast the hell out of them! They gonna wish they never interviewed me!
