I settled a case with them for $2,000 last month, at least that is what they made me believe. The person who took my information and check number over the phone assured me that my debt was clear. About a month later I get a bill from them for $575.00. I have no idea what it is about so I call them and end up speaking to same guy that takes care of all the collections, Mr. Allen. He acts as if he has never spoken to me before. The first time I called last month he was the same person who spoke with me over the phone. He got a rude nasty attitude with me saying he didn't like me. I was angry by the way he was talking to me. So I requested to speak to someone else. A lady then looked up my account by my social security number. She told me that I would be able to settle my case for $2,000 and assured me that my debt was paid in full once I finished giving her the payment. When I called them today to see what the bill in the mail was for, I got a nasty attitude from Mr. Allen. He told me that he had no idea who took my payment over the phone and that I still owed $575.00. I was angry. This company tricked me. They made me believe that I was taking care of my debt for a certain amount just so that they can come out and try to take more money from me later on. This is the most unprofessional collection agency I have ever dealt with. They are con artists and deserve to be shut down.
