ANC Corporate - Jefferson P. Wiliams, Prize Officer, Award Notification Comission
ANC Corporate Announcemnet, Award Opportunity #7824C for $1,000, 000

I have as well as many others received an "official" looking letter stating that in order for my possible winning number I have to send in an "Acquisition and Security Fee" of $11.98 required if securing the premium offer of $1,000, 000, dated: 12/01/08. This info being asked is on a second page "Submission Document Please Complete". This page asks that I must confirm my full name and address as well as sign my full name. The primary letter, with "ANC Corporate Announcement" at top in bold type face, has been generated and directed w / my full name. ANC Corporate states on this page that I need to submit my response along w / $11.89 in cash, credit card or money order w / in 7 days of the receipt of the letter in able to qualify for sweepstakes. What's most alarming to me is they state under box #4 on page 2 "Acquisition and Securement Fee-Required if Securing Premium Offer" [ ] Amount Due $11.89, " they have printed: cc: Master on File"!!!

A small yellow "Credit Purchase Form" accompanies the whole dm package. Also a "Grand Prize Sweepstakes VIII Official Rules/Terms & Conditions" slip. A total of 2 8.5"X11" sheets w / the two smaller slips & return envelope w / typical handwritten-like type face for return address. Of course, there are no tel. Numbers, email or fax info listed anywhere, including no official website.

The crazy part of this scam is that someone or a group of people have gone through great lengths in acquiring names, printing of documents, not inkjet, but laser printed, w / all the official-like small codes that appear way below on primary letter and submission document asking for payment info. I use to design direct marketing materials way back in college as a internship. Not cheap what they have done and mailed, but I guess if you cast a wide net-you'll get a whole lot more fish, and the better designed the net is..., etc. The mailing list they have acquired or stolen or even bought legally, must be very extensive. Think if only 50,000 or 25,000 people do reply w / their $11.98 fee and/or supply them w / C.C.info-they will and probably have been making a bloody fortune.
