My initial request was for the Debt Cures Book. Other offers were made including the Deluxe Package which I declined. The very next offer was for The Gas Certificate which I had accepted.
My initial refund request was for the Deluxe Package. I had already sent out the Gas certificate for the gas coupons before I reviewed the receipt.
After reviewing the receipt and seeing the order placed for the Deluxe Package I called and requested a refund I was told that I could not receive a refund because the Gas Certificate was a part of the Deluxe Package which is not indicated on the receipt, Deception? (See Bank Stmt #1)
I then contacted my attorneys and made them aware of the situation. (See Stnd Authorization) The first e-mail that I received from Dept Cures made reference to my initial phone call that call being a request for instructions on how to return the package. (Inside original e-mail) which was not true because the instructions for the return is on the receipt, which I had made several copies of and their Welcome Letter under Return Policy, Deception continued? (See Welcome Letter and Receipt)
He refund for the Deluxe Package came on 8-14. (See Bank Account Stmt 3-Aug) The delay in the return caused Insufficient Funds charges to my Bank account (See Bank Account Stmt 3-July) When the refund was given the Insufficient Charges were not included.
On August 25th in a conversation with a supervisor I was told that the Gas Certificate was not a part of the Deluxe Package and was offered as in incentive to offset the decline of the Deluxe Package, more deception?
As a disabled student I have learned to budget my income. I refused the Deluxe Package because I did not budget for the extra $100. This ordeal has caused mental anguish. Several opportunities to supplement my income have been delayed if not lost. Attachements upon request.
