Attended a timeshare presentation in the summer of where one of the incentives to attend was a $100 gas rebate coupon.
Upon satisfatory completion of the presentation, I was given coupons to submit to Gas Up America. However, to claim the rebate, you must adhere strictly to 16 rules! First you must file an Activation Form in order to even recieve the coupons. Then you need to submit a gas receipt "for the EXACT amount of the coupon. (Ever try to stop the pump at an exact amount without deviating by at least a penny)?
Anyhow, I did all the above and then got a letter saying I did not adhere to all the rules. Nothing stated in the letter as to what I did wrong. No phone number to call in order to discuss the matter.
What are the odds that no matter what I do, I will run afoul of one of the 16 rules? Am I crazy to think that submitting a gas coupon should be a little more straightforward than this?
