Last October I was contacted by a representative of Pin Point Marketing. Their purpose was to get me to place an ad on local high school sports schedules. I placed a small ad with them at that time. I was to receive a proof that was never received.
This October the calls began again to "re-new" my ad. I told each of the 3 representatives that called that I did not wish to participate any longer. Shortly thereafter I received a "proof" of this years schedules. They DID have the company name that I work for on one of the "schedules" but the wrong address and person (not me). As I started to look more closely, which was difficult due to the poor quality of the proof, I realized that while the school name was in fact a local school, the scheduled games were against teams that were either made up or not from here. At this point I realized the whole thing had been a scam.
I started looking online and found MANY references to the same thing so I decided to add my name to the list of protestors. Companies like this need to be stopped. I realize it is buyer beware, but hopefully, with enough stuff posted, another person won't be scammed as I was.
