I signed the so-called "LA Weight Rebate" form April 18, for an astronomical amount of over $900.00, not to mention the other "costs" with the take-off juice, so-called "nutrients", and diligently met their visiting requirements toward the 6-month reward. I have every record of these visits.in the interim, I needed to undergo surgery on my right ankle, a talonavicular fusion. LA Weight Loss was aware of each and every part of this process, and I was told repeatedly that as long as I called in (I could not drive obviously because it was my right ankle).
The same process occurred when I was working toward the 1 year rebate voucher.By this time, I had developed MRSA, Strep and Staph in the bones of my right foot, and was scheduled to have a Symes amputation at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. LA Weight Loss was aware of each and every part of this process as well.
I had met the goal weight at 6 months, weighed in at LA Weight Loss and recorded this information—as did LA Weight Loss. Additionally, I had someone drive me in again for the 1 year milestone. This, again, was recorded at LA Weight Loss.
I have contacted the manager at this facility, and all I get is snotty remarks about not meeting the criteria. This company needs to be brought up short. I will not stop with this. I will go to the media, to Good Housekeeping, etc., etc. Until I get my half returned, as agreed to.
