I too was nearly a victim of Meagan Clark's little scams. She was going to buy my home in Prince George as a rent-to-own claiming her husband was training the Prince George Cougars.
Then she proceeded to take deposits from people and even advertised on Kijiji with pictures of my home! (We hadn't even drawn up any paperwork).
She claimed she was pregnant, (the dates didn't add up... Uh... Hello Meagan? Most women are pregnant for about 9 months... Not 7!!!).
Alarm bells started going off when she claimed that she qualified for a $350,000 mortgage, yet couldn't come up with a $10,000 deposit. When I couldn't get in touch with her she claimed she was in the hospital - that she miscarried and that Nathan left her.
This woman is a master scammer. She'll say she's very religious and can talk a good talk. But that's all it is... Talk.
Stories were all just getting way too convoluted. I bailed.
2 weeks later I got a call from a neighbour who said a young girl was bawling in front of my house - that she'd given Meagan a $500 deposit.
Pugs and home scams. That seems to be this woman's gig.
