I purchased a book " reclaiming precious metals" from mary's store in new york online threw alberis.com which is part of borders book's. The site said that mary's store had 10 coppies of this book at $72 each. I purchased one copy and my credit card was charged. The next day i recived an email from alberis stating that my order had been cancled because mary's store had sold out of the books in question. I did a search from alberis and it showed that mary's still had 10 copies of this book at $72 each.
I replied to alberis and told support what i had found. They claimed it was due to the site not being updated.
The very next day i did another search for this book, and iot showed that mary's still had 10 copies, but now the price was $120 each!!! If they had sold out of the books, why do they still have the 10 books, but now they are $48 more than the day before??? This is one company that is dafinately a scam!!! I wont be suprised if they have stolen my credit card number along with my money they carged for the book!!! So be carefull of this company.
