I agreed to have $550 charged to my credit card in return for marketing to sell my timeshare. It was clearly stated in the contract that if another timeshare marketing company sold the property, they would refund my $550.
I sent proof of sale to both the timeshare marketing companies I had signed on with. Omega Marketing refunded my fee. Resales Buy Owner refused to take or return my calls..
I filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau and the president of Resales Buy Owner, Jack Wasserman, signed their document saying I was getting the refund. That was 8/9/08 - and to date - I have neither received my refund nor has he responded to my many phone messages, emails or faxes.
I will now contact the Attorney General's office to report them.
