Jim Van Blaricum used high pressure sale tactics and fat commission to no name brokers to attract new victims to his scams. We were for tax shelter. We were promised to get our original capital plus high return (40%) in about 18 month!
We invested close to $300K. The first year, after not receiving any money the first several month, we sent angry emails and mails and threats to contact our attorney, we received a total of 15K which means if the payment continue (which we doubted), it will take us about 10 years to recover half of our capital, not even any interest. The 2nd year, it got worsen... After few attempts to get paid and investigating the company. We found the company has been suspended in Denver state and report on google on their fraude by the state department.
In a time where oil and gas almost tripple in price, we have not received payment for almost 2 years.
