I got a great e-mail, or so I thought... Don't be fooled by Mark Sommer from PCORE Electric. It cost me fees from my bank and much disappointment. He sends you a "check" and asks you to deposit it or cash it, and Western Union monies to two other people.
Fortunately for me, my bank would not cash the check, so I deposited it. I e-mailed Mark Sommer, and he said that was great, contact him when the check cleared and I had Western Unioned the money to the individuals he had instructed me to.
Well, today, I checked with my bank, only to find out the check was a fake, and they charged me fees for that. I explained that I was going to contact police and do whatever I could to be sure this didn't happen to anyone else. My bank will help me in any way that they can to take care of this.
Before I accepted the "job", I went on line and checked out the company, and found them to appear ligitament. But this was not ligitament in any way shape or form.
BEWARE OF MARK SOMMER & PCORE ELECTRIC. If it sounds too good to be true, it is probably a SCAM, and in this case it was.
