Bergdorf Goodman is supposed to be the last vestige of the great New York department stores. I am sad to report that that is no longer the case. I am always happy to pay higher prices to receive attentive customer service. You walk into Bergdorfs and have to search for someone who works there if you need help. Then, the people treat you as if you are rude for interrupting their chatter with each other if you dare to ask them to do any work. And, if you have the audacity to complain, they speak to you in that ingratiating, fake nice tone. The Men's Store, although completely incompetent, at least feigns customer service.
