I feel really dumb now that I have visited this site. I never thought this happened anymore, but how stupid I feel now. I was in an Aldi food store parking lot in Manitowoc, WI buying food for a fundraising cookout at my high school.
When I was leaving a white chevy van pulled up next to me with two guys in their mid 20's, trying to sell speakers, saying that the company he worked for gave him an extra, by accident. This guy tried to be like a friend to me. He had a set of home theater spekers, that he said were retail $1,200.
He offered to sell them for half, I said I didn't have that kind of money, and somehow I offered him $300 for them. I tryed to get away from him, but there was no way away from buying them. He than drove with me to my bank to get the money, with his friend following in their van.
I gave him the money, and he gave me a fake receipt, and as he went back to his van he was skipping and laughing. That got me a little suspicious. When I got home I went online to check them out, and found this site.
