Well im not the first and im sure wont be the last but i was goin to ace hardware to buy some damn screws and a couple of a-holes in a minivan gave me the same story about being given more speakers than they should have and i went to take a look. I only had 56 bucks and they gave me the stupid "so realisticly how much money could you get together now" and i didnt know of any way i could get any more. I wont go into detail of how i was able to get $500 more dollars as it is too embarassing. But i bought two of the sl-1400 tower speakers and one set of the da 5.1 pro series home theater surround set up with the sub and five sattelite speakers.
So i gave them $550 and the let me keep six dollars to go have some lunch (how nice huh). So i went to show my friends one of which hooks up high end home audio. The dumb thing is i should have known better than to do this but i thought they were stolen or something and as long as i never tried to pawn them i would be ok. But anyway i find my friends uncle who owns a company that sets up REAL high end audio equipment and he tried to be nice and sugar coat it and tell me i did "ok" but no way did i get $6,000 dollars worth of stuff.
