As described in other letters, we were promised 2 round trip tickets and 7 days of car rental to listen to the 90 minute presentation. We listened to the presentation, said no, and received the form to complete and send in. I completed the form & mailed it, received another form requesting $55 and more info. I sent the $55 and form and received another form requesting $4.95 in money order. The form said nothing about the free 7 day car rental, so I called them. I was told they had nothing to do with car rentals, so I called the original number to make the appt with Elite. I told my story and was given an 800 number, but the voicemail was full and I had no other options, so now I am putting my complaint here.
I am OK with paying $55.00, $4.95, and then $50.00 per person for the airline tickets - that is still a bargain. I see the game - they have you jump through some hoops in the hope that you'll give up and not collect. I'll play that game and get my tickets. I am NOT OK with not getting the free 7 days of car rental that was promised and I will not drop it until I get that as well.
So I resort to this in the hopes that the company will make it right.
