Bloomstoday.com, bloomsrewards bogus monthly "rewards" fee Haymarket Virginia

I ordered a bouquet of flowers from bloomstoday.com for my mother for Mother's Day. I thought that was that but I had reservations about ordering flowers from someplace that supposedly had them for 50% off. What's the catch? Is the question that everyone should always ask. But I ignored that little voice in the back of mind and ordered then anyway. They arrived somewhat wilted but still nice looking.

Only today purely by accident while checking my bank account and calling customer service did I become aware of the $9.00 (or so) monthly charge that I had been getting since May! If you go to their site you will see a very prominent box where you can unsubscribe to the rewards program which to me is an indication that Bloomstoday must get angry customers all the time wanting to opt out of this bogus "program" that you never know you are in.

They have also told me that I will definitely NOT be getting a refund. I suggest that ANY and EVERYONE that has ever ordered from this company check your bank statements for these charges.

I will also be making a complaint to the BBB.
Bloomstoday sucks.
