Discrimination between white and blacks taking pictures in store

I am a regular shopper in the spencer's gift stores and i like to go into the stores just to try the new things that are in from one month to the next. I have been going into the spencer's stores for years and have been in the stores alone and with groups and we have always had a great time. After all, everyone goes into spencer's to have a great time and buy some very hillarious things. Well, on 6-30, me and a few friends went into the indian river mall's spencer's, located in vero beach, florida. We have been to this particular spencer's a hundred times or more and have bought many items. But we never had such flat out discrimination thrown our way ever in any store as we did this day. The problems started when a couple of us thought that we looked funny in a certain hat that was in the store. Keep in mind that everyone has or knows of someone who has taken a picture of themselves or others in spencer's and i never seen a problem with it as many times as i have been in the stores, it happens all day everyday. But on this particular day, a white female clerk thought that the group that i was with, all of us being black, would have to follow the rules and not take pictures. But, just feet from us, there were several whites taking pictures. Naturally for her, she saw no problem with that and said nothing to them about the pictures being taken in spencer's as she told us not to do. We were outraged to say the least. So we promptly left out of the store instead of being ignorant and causing further problems because usually i am extremely vocal about discrimination and racism. But out of all the times i have been in spencer's all over, i have seen pictures being taken in every one of the stores i was in, including this particular store. What made this young lady be so predjudice on this occasion, i would love to know. Needless to say, i dont think i, or anyone i was with, will ever step foot into another spencer's store because of the prejudice ways of this clerk in the vero beach spencer's location. Very bad business and spencer's should be ashamed of having this kind of service. Or do they accept it? I would like to hear about similar experiences at spencer's.
