I just want to let everyone know that Patricia Wilson, Etex Equine is a liar and a Cheat!!!
I have had horse since I was about 12 years old, I ride competion barrels in playdays. I wanted to get a clam horse for my 4 year old daughter to learn to ride on. I have been serching for quite awhile. I found a nice dapple gray on Eqinehits.com. I call and talk to Patricia on the phone, She seemed so nice and seemed to have a general care for horse people. She stressed to me how this horse would be so suited for a beginner she even went down onte price to 1500 from 1200. Well I was hooked. I decided that I would call her and tell her that I wanted the horse named Reno.
Patricia likes for her customers to do a wire transfer. Well my husband said no way. She wanted me to do it before I even got the horse. So I told her about my husband and she acted like if I did not do it I could not buy the horse. So I told her that I could come and pick it up on the weekend. She said that she was going out of town. So my husband had to take off of work and go on the 17th of june, 08.
Patricia told me that the horse I was going to go and pick up was a finish head horse and could heal if he needed to. He was also a pick up horse for many years. She said that his temperment was a one, and he would be a great kids horse. She also said that he stood for the farrier and loved to be bathed. She also said he was 10 years old.
I thought this was a dream horse for my four year old daughter and two year old son.
The day that she had my husband scheduled to come to her barn and pick him up was the day it strormed all day. We got there and I was raining so hard. So my husband just go out and loaded up the horse and I got out a talk to patricia in the barn. I gave her the 1200 dollars and ask her again if I had a 30 contract on the horse. She said" Sure no problem, It not like you want to ride him in the rain. It really not that big of a deal, I know you will be happy. If by any chance he does not work just call and I will come and get him. I like for the people I sell horses to, to be personality compatable." I said great sounds good.
I got the horse home and the dumb thing would not get out of the trailer. My husband tried for about 30 min to an hour. I think he was drugged. Finally he reared up and came stomping out. That horse is as crazy as the day is long. Every time you go near it he tries to paw you. He is afraid of everything. I will not let my kids near it.
I call her the very next day and told her the horse was to much for me and my kids. She was realy nice at first. She said well you really need to give hime a couple of days. He has changed barns for the first time he is probably scared. I said well I guess so I will give him until friday.
Several times my husband tried to go out the and mess with him. He is really a mean horse. He does not like people at all. My husband was able to ride hime once when we first go hime home on tues. Night. The horse does not even know how to rein. He tried to buck and jumped at every thing. I just told my husband to leave him alone. Every since then we cannot really catch him.
So friday came and I called Patricia and told her that I did not want the horse. She said that she did not do refunds. My husband even talked with her. He ask her if she was going to honor the 30 contract and she straight up said no. I got on the phone with her and cried a begged. I have been saving the money for along time to buy them a horse, and now I have a crazy horse that they can not even get close to. Patricia told me, " I am not in the business of fixing F%$#@ up mistakes, I am the business of selling horse. It is not my falut the you are a F^%$# iodit." Then she hung up on me.
This woman need to be stopped. Truns out She has two cases pending with the state of Texas animal health commission for selling horse with the wrong coggins papers. And she has two cases that have already been closed.
Of corse I have bad coggins on the horse I bought from her. She is the most dishonest person I have ever known.
If you have bought a horse from her check the coggins papers. If they are now matched to the horse please report her. If everybody will stand up and say to the right people what she has done to them, maybe we can stop her.
Also the man I talk to at the TAHC said she has done these kinds of things in about six other states. The mans name at TAHC is Richard Wagner 361 772 4049. And the number for the Tahc is 1800 658 6560. Also you can report her on the bbbonline.org. Also you can call the Cass county sheriff dept and make a compliant.
