Nelson Watson and assoc. The first call came 2 days ago at 6 or later in the PM. My "rep" some kid name Brian went into a long story saying I owed then over 1000 dollars since they "bought" this account from another collection agency, who "bought " it from the orginal lender.

It was over a 200 dollar SECURED card I had, 10 years ago. Wow. Anyhow, I happen to know that it is not on my credit report now, has long since passed any statue of limitations and etc.
Brian wanted to offer me a deal by paying of P percent on the spot and he would settle the other 50.
No He tried to get a 600 dollar pay off over the next 2 months no I told him I wanted to see all the info about the account, and I'd be willing to work out some payment arraingement, but after I verify what exactly is the situation.
He asked me about my annual income, and then put me on hold again.
This was like the third time being on hol

So he comes back and said I could pay 50 bucks a month, and I said that sounded reasonable, but I would not pay the inflated amount. So I tell him to e-mail me everything and I'll look it over and let him know.
Now he said he sent the mail and is trying to get me to give him my card # for a payment.
I said no, I would no way give my number out
so he got a little madder, and said some stuff like. "I can see youhave no intent on settling your debt""
so I told him I'd check my mail and call him again once I had a chance to look it over.
He also tried to convince me that I was making payments on it nad it was in good standing up until 18 months ago. That was just some hook to try to entice me since the once secured account was YEARS OLD.
HE CALLED BACK AN HOUR LATER
I told him that I was busy and I'd call him
His additude got worse.
So I actually got an e-mail in the morning, and all it was - a PDF file, of a generic letter they scanned. Um, from them. So stupid.
So later he calls me while I am at work.
I told him that, "I am at work now, and I'll call you when I had a chance to look at it"
so he got all mouthy and rude and I asked to speak to his supervisor, Right away some guy comes on the phone, I can tell he is short tempered by the way he is greeting me quickly and very curt.

I told Raimero, that Brian was really a rude and the whole time line. I said the "document" he sent was just a letter he typed, and that I needed time to validate and consider.

they said I am wasting their time. I said they were incredibly rude, he said ""HOW SO MAAM< HOW SO< HOW SO"" sounded really like a speed freak of something
I suppose it is a waste of time if you are trying to steal peoples account information with false info.
