Like so many others I have recented discovered I have been ripped off by the Hartford Auto Club and Premier Mega Services via totally unauthorized deductions from my checking account for membership. I do not understand how they got my account information and a "verbal" OK on phone from me!
I am curious if anyone else affected by this scam has ever dealt with a debt consolidation firm in the Miami, FL area called National Comsumer Resource Center? This fraud appears to have been initially instigated from Florida (Miami area.)
I have been in contact with the FTC and am in process of filing a report with them. The FTC is well aware of the scope & gravity of this fraud case and need all the infor they can gather from victims.
